Pixel is X-Man’s final offspring born here at Rare Gem Alpacas, and he’s already proving to be a fitting tribute. With a strong, square frame, correct conformation, and a strikingly symmetrical head, Pixel carries the signature phenotype we strive for. His fleece is already showing signs of excellence—uniform, bright, and buttery to the touch, with expressive Appaloosa patterning that promises to evolve beautifully with age.
Pixel is the product of two exceptional Appaloosa parents, bred with intention and depth of pedigree:
** Sire: Rare Gem X-Man, who now resides at Roaring Acres Farm after being sold at the 2024 Parade of Champions.
** Dam: Stone Pine Jolene, a banner-winning, well-expressed, spotted female with champion status and fleece to match.
Beyond the pasture, Pixel is also set to take on a starring role in our Kids4Kids Book Series—a story collection told through the eyes of our baby alpacas, designed to inspire young readers while celebrating the unique personalities in our herd. Pixel’s curious, observant nature and whimsical name make him the perfect “resident artist” of the series.
