In 2020, Celeste threw a lovely appaloosa male. His fleece shows an advanced architecture rarely found in appaloosa and harlequin alpacas. Celeste has now been bred to appaloosa harlequin, Apache Gentleman, for a Spring 2022 offspring. Apache is currently throwing at a 95% expression rate for appaloosa and harlequin... even when bred to solid dams with NO appaloosa / harlequins in their pedigrees.
UPDATE: June 2021.... fiber testing results just received and updated. Celeste is still rockin' the stats at 10 years of age! AFD 18.5, SD 3.4, %>30=0.9%, CF 99.1%
