Details
Handsome son of lavender grey herdsire, 3X Champion Rare Gem Privateer's First Mate, and true black dam, Granite Bay National Velvet. National Velvet is a daughter of 3X Futurity Herdsire of the Year-- US Steel. This boy's pedigree is packed with elite grey and black genetics.

Sea Senor has been color genotyped as EE a1a2. He carries no dilution and two black alleles— including a1 which produces beautiful blue black. Sea Senor will be an asset to a black and grey breeding program. Another exciting pairing for this male will be appaloosa's carrying a dilution gene. By pairing with such a female, offspring have the potential to be classic appaloosa and even harlequin appaloosa. We have paired him with some of our very best classic appaloosas here at Rare Gem Alpacas and are excited to see the 2024 progeny!
